Brief
Moisturize The Milk Way. For Milk Makeups first-ever dedicated skincare line the brand wanted to shifted it’s look to a more utilitarian feel that focused on highlighting clean ingredients and the all-vegan promise.

Solution
Borrowing stylistic elements from drugstore stickers and corner-store delis the branding reenforces the more utilitarian theme. Clear labeling and customized iconography not only embellish composition but lend a hand in listing out ingredients and translating a transparent look and feel.

SOFTEN & SOOTHES

To highlight the clean, fragrance-free formula photography for the campaign was to feel stripped back yet airy, light and non-compromising like the product itself.

Special iconography was developed from icons to barcodes and stickers to give the brand enough arsenal to deploy in all branding instances from in-house collateral to gifting packaging and ad work. The icons serve as immediate identifies of the products purpose that simplifies its labeling throughout the Milk Makeup’s product range.

A strong emphasis was placed on showcasing the natural plant-based ingredients in packaging materials as well as digital swipe-through ads. Featuring the specially formulated Desert Milk™ made from Kalahari melon, baobab, jojoba, and aloe vera to drive home the moisturizes selling points.
